Different patties and burgers and falafels all gluten free and vegan

Veggie brugers

– cooked, 50g kidney beans
– flax egg ( 1 tbsp ground flax seeds and 3 tbsp of a room temperature water in a mug set aside for a few minutes to form what I call it for a flax egg )
– 30g of cooked quinoa
– 1/2 chopped belle pepper into tiny pieces, a little bit of onion
– and herbs of your choice

Mash the beans with a fork or in a food processor, then blend all the ingredients together (the flax egg and beans will stick all the other ingredients together). Then form patties and cook on a pan.

FALAFELS

– bake one medium sweet potato
-and cook a a few kidney beans
then when it’s ready, take the skin of and mash it with a fork, mash the beans as well and then add
– 1 tbsp of coconut flour ( or almond)
– a chopped into tiny pieces belle pepper and onion (if desired)
– grate a small carrot
If it doesn’t stick very well, add a few drops of water

Form small balls with your palms and cook them in a pan!

SWEET PATTIES

– bake one sweet potato in the oven
– cook a handful of white beans
When ready, take the skin of from the potato and mash both with a fork then add
– 1 tbsp of coconut flour (or almond)
– spices of your choice and chop into tiny pieces a sweet bell pepper

If it doesn’t stick enough add a couple drops of water then form into patties and on a heated pan cook them :)!

TAHINI FALAFELS

Cook 50g of chickpeas when they are ready mash them in a food processor then in a bowl mix in
– 1/2 tbsp of tahini
– 1 tbsp coconut flour
– spices of your choice and some lemon juice

If needed add a few drops of water to make them more sticky, then form them into balls and then cook them on a pre heated pan.

Sweet white bean Patties

– cook 50g of white beans
When done, mash them with a fork or in a food processor. In a bowls add
– 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
– 1/2 tbsp of coconut flour
and if desired some herbs

Forms into patties and cook on a pre heated pan

Salty n sweet patties

– a couple sun-dried tomatoes soaked in water for a couple of hours 
– 50g of white beans 
– half of a baked sweet potato 
– spices and herbs of your choice (I used dried basil,thyme and oregano) 

Form patties with your palm. and cook on a pre-heated pan (non stick if no fat used or you can cook them on a little bit of coconut oil.

 

Zucchini patties

– 1 grated zucchini 
– chopped bell pepper
– 1 tbsp gluten free oat flour ( could use either almond or coconut flour) 
-herbs and spices of your choice 
You can add more flour if the “dough” is too watery or add water if it does not “stick” enough. 

Form patties with the palm of your hand, on a pre-heated pan start cooking them till they get a few golden spots.
